OneVAlley attends GITEX 2024

GITEX 2024, billed as the world's largest tech conference, lived up to its reputation. For OneValley, being part of this global gathering highlighted how AI is pushing boundaries worldwide. The conference wasn’t just a display of new tech; it was a space where companies, investors, and thought leaders came together to collaborate and share ideas. It served as a strong reminder of the importance of ecosystems that actively support innovation through collaboration.

GITEX showcased an array of cutting-edge AI technologies and products. Some notable examples include:

  • An AI-powered mirror designed to recommend personalized skincare regimens.

  • A Korean AI company that demonstrated real-time conversion of images into lifelike avatars.

  • Multiple prototypes of flying cars, highlighting the advancements in future mobility.

  • A company utilizing nanolasers to imprint diamonds for origin tracking and certification.

One of the biggest takeaways was the remarkable level of support, investment, and resources available to startups in the MENA region. In particular, the UAE’s approach to nurturing entrepreneurship, where everyone from government to private investors is aligned toward tech advancement, was an exciting model to witness.

As OneValley continues to evolve its product line and grow its network for our ecosystem, our team is committed to keeping a pulse on the latest innovations and supporting ecosystems globally in order to create access for startups and SMBs. From PassportOS directly supporting ESOs with program management and applications to offering perks for bootstrapped businesses, OneValley keeps startups and founders front and center. This kind of support creates fertile ground for startups to bring transformative ideas to market—and is something we continue to champion in our own ecosystem-building efforts.
