Chief Product Officer, OneValley
Alec is the Chief Product Officer and Managing Director at OneValley and OneValley Ventures, where he leads the companies Acceleration and Ventures and Enterprise Innovation efforts. He has served as an advisor to 25+ Pre-Seed and Seed startups and Fortune 500 companies like 3M, Fidelity, MassMutual, Cisco and Fujifilm.
He founded the Pioneer Accelerator, a Pre-Seed accelerator launched in partnership with Google Developers Launchpad that has supported startups emerging from global innovation markets like Korea, Mexico, Brazil and Russia.
Alec is a Partner in the Maverick Fund, where he actively invests in enterprise AI, digital health and marketplace technologies. Maverick investments include Tueo Health (acquired), Kylie.ai (acquired), Facet Wealth, Tara.ai, BidOps and NuvoCargo.
Alec is on the Digital Advisory Board of the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) and was formerly a member of the Board of Directors of the Cleantech Open, the world’s largest cleantech accelerator. Previously, Alec worked in banking and finance law at DC law firm Kellogg Huber and cross-border investment diligence at IBC Corp.
